Major General Thanh revealed that C03 has sent a request to the Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee, urging local authorities to provide documents related to several land-use projects in the area.

The goal is to conduct a review to prevent potential violations, although no formal criminal investigation has been initiated at this stage.

The Phuc Son, Thuan An, and Saigon Dai Ninh cases, which were initiated earlier this year, are currently under investigation. These complex, large-scale cases are being closely monitored and directed by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption. Investigative findings, including the nature of the offenses and related charges, will be publicly disclosed in due course.

In the Phuc Son case, 26 individuals have been charged with five criminal offenses: violations of accounting regulations causing serious consequences, bribery, receiving bribes, bidding violations causing serious consequences, and exploiting influence over persons in positions of authority for personal gain.

According to Major General Thanh, this case spans multiple locations and involves various entities, including Thang Long Real Estate Company, Phuc Son Group, and several local governments in Quang Ngai, Vinh Phuc, Khanh Hoa, and Phu Tho provinces.

C03 is focusing on strengthening evidence collection and expanding the investigation to other implicated individuals. The agency is also working with the Supreme People's Procuracy to assess evidence and proceed with further indictments in accordance with the law, with a priority on asset recovery.

So far, the investigation has successfully recovered over VND 300 billion, $2 million, more than 1,000 land title deeds, and 500 taels of gold, according to

In the Thuan An case, eight individuals have been charged with offenses including violations of bidding regulations causing serious consequences, bribery, and abuse of power for personal gain. The case involves several regions, including Bac Giang province, and C03 is working to ensure the case is thoroughly investigated and resolved.

The Saigon Dai Ninh case centers on violations related to changes in investment decisions and project adjustments influenced by individuals within the Government Inspectorate, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, and officials from the Government Office.

Eight individuals have been charged in this case with bribery, receiving bribes, and abuse of power. The investigation is ongoing, with C03 committed to prosecuting all those involved according to the law, ensuring no exceptions are made.

Major General Thanh emphasized the agency’s firm stance on pursuing investigations thoroughly and transparently, in line with the principle of "no forbidden zones" in the fight against corruption and economic crimes.
