VietNamNet Bridge – Japanese contestant Marina Kishira, 23, defeated nearly 80 Miss Earth contestants to take the Best Traditional Costume title on November 13 in the coastal city of Phan Thiet.

Miss Japan receives Miss Sea Links City title from Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos.

She also won the Miss Sea Links title, the name of the resort where the competition took place, and a bonus prize worth $5000. She will be the resort’s special guest for five years.

Kishira previously entered the top five of Miss Talent show.

The top five of the traditional costume competition consist of the contestants from South Africa, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil and Japan.
