The traditional dress competition of the upcoming Miss Grand International 2017 will be held at Thien Duong (Heaven) Cave in Quang Binh Province.

Quang Binh provincial authorities announced the news on March 14.

Nawat Itsaragrisil, CEO of Miss Grand International Organisation, said they had explored various locations in the provinces and concluded the Thien Duong Cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park was the best place to held the contest.

Itsaragrisil said Miss Grand International 2017 would be broadcasted live to an international audience.

Contestants from 80 countries will participate in the Miss Grand International 2017 which will be held from October 5 to 21 in the provinces of Kien Giang, Quang Binh and HCM City. 

The traditional dress contest will be held in Quang Binh Province from October 15 to 19.

Tran Tien Dung, vice chairman of Quang Binh Province, said this would be a great opportunity to promote Quang Binh tourism. 

Dung will direct agencies to co-operate with the contest management board to ensure that the contest runs smoothly.
