Miss Grand Vietnam will follow an exciting, entertaining itinerary, and the same time promote cultural and human values that Miss Grand International represents, said Pham Kim Dung, general director of Sen Vang Entertainment Co. Ltd., the organizer of the contest. 

Through the Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 pageant, the organising board wishes to spread a message of peace throughout the globe, said Dung. 

The grand final of the contest is scheduled to take place in July. The winner will have more than two months to prepare for the Miss Grand International 2022 which is set to get underway in Bali, Indonesia, on October 25.

Over the past few years Vietnamese representatives have recorded many achievements at the Miss Grand International beauty contest. They include Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, winner of Miss Grand International 2021, Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao finishing in the Top 20 of MGI 2020, Nguyen Ha Kieu Loan finishing in the Top 10 of MGI 2019, Bui Phuong Nga among the Top 10 at MGI 2018, Nguyen Tran Huyen My who was in the Top 10 of MGI 2017, and Nguyen Thi Loan in the Top 20 of MGI 2016.
