VietNamNet Bridge – The qualifying round for the Miss Jewelry 2013 pageant will take place from May 19 to June 21.
The sixth pageant, co-organised by the Vietnam Gemstones, Jewelry and Handicraft Association and Golden Fashion magazine, aims to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women combined with exquisite jewelry collections made by talented craftsmen.
The competition is for girls aged between 18 and 27 years old who are Vietnamese citizens working in Vietnam or foreign countries.
Candidates must be above 1.6 metres tall, not married, graduated from high school and have undergone no cosmetic surgery.
The organizing board will directly choose candidates from cities and provinces, including Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Haiphong, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
After the qualifying stage, the best 30 candidates will enter the final round to be held on Tuan Chau Island, in Halong City on July 20.
The winner will receive VND300 million, while the first and second runners-up will be awarded VND100 million and VND80 million, respectively.
Two others listed in top five will be given VND30 million each.
