The Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism has officially given an approval for Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em to be representative of Vietnam to join the Miss Earth 2016 pageant slated for October in the Philippines.

Miss Mekong Delta 2015 Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em, 1996, is 1.73m tall with body measurements of 85-60-90. She was also listed among top 10 finalists at Miss Universe Vietnam 2015.

Nam Em has ever become ambassador of the Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 and participated in social activities, such as a campaign promoting local reef conservation and offering gifts to disadvantaged children.

She will vie with nearly 90 other contestants from around the world in the Miss Earth 2016 beauty contest that will take place from October 8-29.
