The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of VND200 million and a pearl crown worth VND1.5 billion, and have the opportunity to compete at international beauty contests.

Besides Miss Ocean Vietnam and runner-ups, the contestants can win one of the following titles: Miss Talented, Miss Tourism, Miss Photo, Miss Aodai, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Evening Gown, and Miss Bikini.

The contestants in Miss Ocean Vietnam 2016 will perform on beautiful islands in Halong in the northern coast province of Quang Ninh.

The final gala will be broadcast live on VTV6.
