The Indian beauty displayed her delight at touching down in Vietnam for the first time, noting both her delight and surprise at crowds of Vietnamese fans who turned out to greet her.

Harnazz Sandhu is set to be the guest of honour at the grand final of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, which is scheduled to take place on June 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ahead of the event, she will visit several scenic spots in Ho Chi Minh City alongside other representatives of the Miss Universe Organization.

They will then participate in several activities together with the Top 41 of Miss Universe Vietnam ahead of the grand final.

Harnazz Sandhu, 22, was crowned Miss Universe 2021 in Israel last year after beating approximately 70 contestants from other countries. She became the third Indian representative to have won top prize at the global pageant.

The Miss Universe Vietnam pageant which is held every two years aims to seek local representative who can compete in the Miss Universe pageant - one of four biggest beauty contests in the world, alongside the likes of Miss World, Miss Grand International, and Miss International.

Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005, Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2018, and, H’Hen Nie, a Top 5 finisher at Miss Universe 2018, will work as members the judging panel for Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.
