The Light of Infinity crown, crafted from rare South Sea golden pearls - considered a national treasure of the Philippines - was created in 377 meticulous steps over five years by master Filipino artisans using traditional techniques from Place Vendôme, France. Despite its craftsmanship, the crown has faced criticism for its less appealing design compared to its predecessors.

Current Miss Universe Shennis Palacios also attended the event.

Anne Jakrajutatip, the transgender billionaire owner of Miss Universe, announced the itinerary for Miss Universe 2024. The journey will begin in Miami, followed by New York, Bangkok (Thailand), Palawan (Philippines), and Jakarta (Indonesia), concluding with Christmas and New Year’s activities in New York.

Anne emphasized that the new Miss Universe must maintain good health and mental well-being to handle the demanding schedule, which includes official duties and major events throughout the year.

Accompanying Ky Duyen in Mexico were National Director Huong Ly, Miss Universe Vietnam President Valentine Tran, runner-up Vu Thuy Quynh, and beauty queen Ha Kino. They shared photos of their arrival at the hotel as they prepared to support Ky Duyen.
