Miss Vietnam Do Thi Ha to play T'rung, perform folk dance at Miss World 2021

Miss Vietnam Do Thi Ha showed her preparations for the Miss World 2021 pageant in Puerto Rico at an event on November 15.

Ha introduced her costumes, performed a folk dance that she prepared for the talent show, and spoke about the upcoming journey. The young woman, born in 2000, also expressed her pride and determination.

"It is a great honor to represent Vietnam at Miss World 2021. I will use all the abundant energy of a 20-year-old girl for the competition,” Do Thi Ha said.

Miss Vietnam 2020 also introduced to the audience her charity project named "Peaceful Houses", under which 18 houses built for families in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province who were affected by floods last year. Ha also donated necessaries and 100 million VND to repair a local primary school.

Ha performed a piece of music with a T'rung musical instrument, prepared for the talent show of Miss World 2021 pageant. (The T'rưng is a traditional bamboo xylophone used by the Jarai people and Bahnar people in Vietnam's Central Highlands).

She also introduced two evening gowns with pink and white as the main colors.

"I have almost finished preparing important items for the pageant. I always have a confident and comfortable attitude," Ha said.

In the next few days, Ha will practice interview skills for the Head-to-Head Challenge competition.

She is determined to reach the Top 12 at Miss World 2021. "I hope that my efforts will be realized and Vietnamese people’s support will help me be more confident in the upcoming journey," she said.

Ha is leaving Vietnam for Puerto Rico on November 20 to compete with representatives of more than 120 participating countries in one of the largest beauty contests in the world.
