Preparations are being swiftly made by both the organisers and contestants of Miss Vietnam 2020 ahead of the pageant’s fashion segment, the first competition of the final round which is set to be held in Vung Tau on November 10.
Pham Kim Dung, a member of the competition’s organising board, Do My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Vietnam 2018, and Luong Thuy Linh, Miss World Vietnam 2019, pose in a menswear-style photoshoot ahead of the start of the Miss Fashion sub-category.
Tieu Vy, a top 30 finisher at Miss World 2018, appears vastly different to normal when appearing in a menswear-style outfit. In the buildup to this year’s pageant, she is serving as an image ambassador for Miss Vietnam.
Do My Linh, winner of Miss Vietnam 2016, will be part of the judging panel for the Miss Vietnam 2020 pageant.
Each of the 35 finalists take part in a challenging training workshop in Ho Chi Minh City in preparation for the sub-contests which are set to get underway in Vung Tau city on November 10.
The winners of the sub-categories will have a great chance of making it into the competition’s top 20 or top 10 during the grand final.
Catwalk expert Crazy Nhoc (R) puts all of the finalists through their paces.
The contestants aim to appear dynamic as they participate in the training session in Ho Chi Minh City.
Each participant seems active when practicing, with the new techniques aimed to show off their bright smiles and wonderful figures.
The 35 girls will now travel to Vung Tau city on November 5 in order to prepare for a diverse range of activities in the final round. The grand final of the pageant is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on November 21.
