The event attracted the participation of Miss World Vietnamese Businesswoman Lam Cuc,

Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han, third runner-up at the Miss International 2015 Thuy Van, first runner-up of Miss Photo 2012 Vu Ngoc Hoang Oanh, and Miss Vietnam finalist Oanh Yen.

According to the organising board, Miss Vietnam Global Heritage will hold preliminary rounds in many countries around the world, especially in Russia, Germany and the US, which is home to a large number of Vietnamese expatriates.

Outstanding candidates will be awarded the titles of Miss Photogenic, Miss Talented, Miss Bikini, Miss Fashion, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Friendly and Miss Charming, with prizes of VND 30 million each.

One of the Top 4 contestants of the Miss Vietnam Global Heritage 2016 will have the opportunity to become the country's representative to compete at the Miss Globe International beauty contest in China in November 2017.

The final round will be broadcast live on Channel VTV6 of Vietnam Television on July 15.
