On October 19, the private interview, part of the Miss Grand International 2024 competition, provided an opportunity for contestants to share personal stories and their motivations for joining the pageant. Representatives from 70 countries answered questions posed by Nawat Itsaragrisil (President), Teresa Chaivisut (Vice President), and reigning Miss Grand International, Luciana Fuster.

During her interview, Vo Le Que Anh spoke about how the enthusiastic support from fans at home, as well as from Thailand and international audiences, motivated her to join the competition.

The representative from Vietnam shared that English is not her strong suit, but her love for Thai cuisine and people has driven her to participate and give her best at the competition.

When asked about Miss Grand International 2021, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Que Anh said Thuy Tien is a role model she admires. "I respect Thuy Tien for everything she has contributed and continues to contribute. She is constantly striving to improve herself, and she has garnered a huge following both domestically and internationally," she shared.

Speaking about her strengths compared to Miss Thuy Tien, Que Anh confidently asserted that she has better singing abilities. "I love singing and dancing, and I aim to become a professional performing singer. I see a thriving entertainment industry in Thailand, and I hope to win the crown this year," she said.

When asked, "If not you, who do you think will win this year’s competition?" Que Anh chose Thailand's representative, Malin Chara-anan.

"If I could, I wish all the girls could win this title this year. But if I had to pick just one, I would want Malin to be Miss Grand International 2024. We are roommates. We have shared many stories, so I know her personality well. Malin is willing to step out of her comfort zone and try new things," Que Anh explained.

The Vietnamese and Thai representatives have developed a close relationship throughout the competition. Fans noticed that they even swapped outfits at a recent event.

Que Anh and other contestants will continue participating inside events and are preparing for the national costume competition on October 20, the semifinals on October 22, and the final on October 25.
