In the national costume segment, Linh dropped a cape with a dragon’s head while he was strutting his stuff on the catwalk. He embarrassedly apologized to the audience with a kind smile, and immediately received a big applause.

In the question round, Linh answered the question in Vietnamese, and though his answer was not good, his simple and honest look won the hearts of the judges.

Miguel Angel Lucas (Spain) won the competition’s title.

Four of the Top 5 finishers were Danh Chieu Linh (Vietnam), Dongwoo Shin (the Republic of Korea), Juan Carlos da Silva (Venezuela), and Gabriel Ortiz (Mexico).

The Mister Global 2022, the seventh iteration, was held in Thailand with the participation of contestants from 30 countries and territories around the world. This is one of the five biggest beauty contests in the world for men.
