VietNamNet Bridge – Karami Miyoko was first to reach the finish line at the second stage of the Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Tournament yesterday.

The Japanese created a big gap with all other riders and won her first stage which ran from Dong Nai Province to Bao Loc City of Lam Dong Province on 97km after 2hr 46.47min. Supuksorn Nuntana of Thailand came second in this stage and Dinh Thi Quynh Nhu of Viet Nam’s Biwase crew was third.
Miyoko also stole the yellow jersey with an overall time of 4:27.26 and the red jersey for the Queen of Mountain.
Nuntana and Nhu continued as the nearest runners-up.
In the team ranking, Miyoko’s outstanding performance played a key role helping her Japan team to top the table. Thailand and Biwase are second and third, respectively.
The third stage today is from Bao Loc to Da Lat City on 115km. Riders will have to conquer the second pass of Prenn which is 10km long.
