Popular Danish band Michael Learns To Rock will join Korean band Wonder Girls at a concert called "Sky Connection 2016" on December 21 in HCMC.

The two bands will arrive in Vietnam on December 20 and show up at a press conference prior to their concert at the Military Zone 7 Stadium in Phu Nhuan District.

MLTR staged two gigs in Vietnam, with one in 1997 and the other in 2015. Established in 1988, the band has been known worldwide for their hits The Actor, Sleeping Child, 25 Minutes, Take Me To Your Heart, and That’s Why You Go Away. Their Scandinavia album was released in 2012.

The four-member band Wonder Girls who pursues the genre of retro pop made their debut in 2007. Their hits include Nobody, Tell Me and So Hot. This was the first Korean band listed on the U.S.’s Billboard music chart.

The two bands’ performances are part of the Sky Connection 2016 program, featuring local singers Thu Minh, Son Tung M-TP, and supermodels Thanh Hang and Lan Khue and Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong.

Tickets to the show are priced from VND100,000 to VND2 million per person. Since the event marks the 5th anniversary of Vietnam’s low-cost airline Vietjet, those booking Vietjet tickets from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. daily from November 28 to December 11 will have a chance to win tickets to the Sky Connection 2016 concert.
