The competition is open to all Vietnamese citizens aged 20 to 45 standing at 1.57 metres tall and above who are either married or divorced and have graduated from high school.

Contestants who have undergone cosmetic surgeries are also allowed to take part in the event.

The preliminary round is expected to be held in July. On September 17, the contestants will arrive in Hanoi for a diverse range of activities, including charity and tourism promotion.

A semi-final night will get underway on September 21, featuring Ao Dai (traditional long dress), evening gown, and talent competitions.

The final night of Mrs Grand Vietnam 2024 is scheduled to take place at the Hanoi Opera House on September 22.

The winner of Mrs Grand Vietnam will then go on to represent the country at Mrs Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this November.

In 2022 Phan Kim Oanh, a 34-year-old businesswoman from Hai Phong, became the first-ever Vietnamese beauty queen to win the title of Mrs Grand International when the pageant was held in Myanmar.

This also marked the first time that Vietnam had sent a representative to the global pageant.
