MTV Vietnam is holding a vote to choose an artist as a representative of Vietnam in the Best Worldwide Act category at MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMA) 2015 which is scheduled late October in Milan, Italy.

Six local artists are prominent candidates to represent Vietnam in the Best Worldwide Act category at MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMA) 2015 in Italy.
Some young candidates are Bui Anh Tuan, Dong Nhi, Giang Hong Ngoc, Hoang Thuy Linh, Son Tung M-TP, and Trinh Thang Binh. Local fans have a chance to vote for their idols from now until Sunday at http://ema2015.mtvvn.com/.
The regional vote will be from October 15 to 24 while the world vote is from October 25 to November 2015.
MTV EMA is among the four prestigious awards of MTV annually held in European countries. Together with MTV VMA (Video Music Awards) and MTV VMAJ (Video Music Awards Japan), MTV EMA is among three music awards which are most influential in the world. Especially, MTV EMA is the only award to feature artists worldwide.
The Best Worldwide Act category of MTV EMA which was launched in 2011 is a playground for Asian artists. The first prize in 2011 went to South Korean band Big Bang. In 2012, Han Geng, former Chinese member of South Korean band Super Juniors, received the award. Chinese star Chris Lee defeated Justin Bieber, One Direction and EXO band of Korea in 2013.
Vietnamese pop star My Tam won Best Southeast Asia Act in Southeast Asia the same year. In 2014, the Best Worldwide Act prize went to Bibi Zhou of China.
