VietNamNet Bridge – After two months of competition, the 12 finalists of reality show MTV VJ Camp which seeks a young talented video jockey (VJ) for the music channel in Vietnam were unveiled on Sunday in the first episode of a three-week boot-camp in Mui Ne Bay Resort in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thanh Province.

The first episode featured typical features of the 12 contestants, consisting of two from Hanoi with the majority from HCMC, as they tried to impress the judging panel which includes former supermodel Thuy Hanh, musicians Nguyen Hai Phong and Quoc Trung, music director Danny Nguyen and MC Phan Anh.

The 12 finalists are: Nguyen Bao Anh Thu, who was born in 1987, has fluent English skills; Luong Kieu Trang (1993) has a winning personality; Vuong Duy Khanh (1988) is an amateur actor; Nguyen Phong Vu was born in 1989 in Germany; Tran Hanh Phuc (1986) MCs for VTV1 and VTC channels; Nguyen Hoang Phuc (1988) is a CF model who works for numerous brand names; Vu Ngoc Phuong (1985) is MC for VTV6 channel and director of some short films; Phan Thi Kim Hang (1990) is a stunning-looking girl; Hoang Tu Linh (1990) was a semi-final contestant of Vietnam’s Got Talent contest; Dang Ngoc Quynh Nhi (1990) is a model; Nguyen Phan Thuy Tien (1990) has great intelligence and finally actress Nguyen Vu Nha Phuong (1989).

In each of the 12 episodes, where contestants are challenged on their physical condition, IQ, fashion knowledge, MC skills and media crisis-solving skills, one will be eliminated. The last episode will see the winner hosting an event live on stage.
The show is aired at 9 p.m. every Sunday on MTV Vietnam.
