Haunting images of Agent Orange victims reflect the cruel war and its terrible consequence. The American War ended nearly 40 years ago, but its effects still resound through Viet Nam, the US and other nations. The exhibition also showcases more than 300 books, scientific research papers and newspapers on topics related to the deadly poison.
Ngo Van Chung, director of the Museum, said the exhibition gathered many documents and objects from collectors at home and in abroad. "They make accusations of a war crime, but help soothe the ‘orange pain'," he said.
The exhibition also displays handiwork, plastic flowers and embroidered pictures created by victims who, despite the disability, try to work like other people.
The exhibition will end on August 28.
