The discovery of ancient sunken vessels in 1999 and again in 2013 in Binh Chau has led directly to the opening of the Museum of Ancient Seafaring.
To date a total of 10 ancient ships have been discovered. Many of the wrecks are only four metres under the surface of the water and are easily accessible by divers. The museum allows guests to become acquainted with a variety of ancient vessels and artefacts rounded off by a summary of the history and insight into shipbuilding.
