The National Assembly Standing Committee is scheduled to hold its 25th session in Ha Noi from February 20 to 22 and will focus mainly on drafting laws.

 

 

 

 

Committee members will contribute their opinions on several draft laws, such as the amended Environmental Protection Law, the revised Construction Law, the revised Notary Public Law and the Law on Public Investment.

They will also look into the law project on amendments and supplements to some articles of the Civil Aviation Law.

The lawmakers are scheduled to debate a report by the Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court regarding the assignment of judges of the court to work as members of the Judge Council of the court.

They will also comment on a report evaluating the implementation of Resolution No. 35/2012/QH13, issued on November 21, 2012, on the vote of confidence to assess the performance of officials elected or selected by the National Assembly and People's Councils.
