The National Assembly (NA) yesterday discussed the draft law on Personal Information Protection during the ongoing 10th session of its 13th tenure.

Many National Assembly deputies yesterday suggested removing the death penalty for certain crimes, including robbery, illegal drugs stocking, causing war and crimes against humanity.The matter was discussed at a session of the NA in Ha Noi.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc confirmed the Government has been cautious in public debts management via stabilising the macro economy and improving the investment environment as he took the floor at the Q&A session. 

 Eighteen laws and 11 resolutions were passed and 12 draft laws and many important socio-economic issues considered at the eighth session of the 13th National Assembly (NA) that ended yesterday.

The 13 th National Assembly will convene its eighth session at the headquarters of the new NA House from October 20 onwards, marking the longest meeting this tenure so far with 35 working days.
