VietNamNet Bridge – Ly Hoang Nam will play Truong Giang Thanh in the semi-finals of the National Tennis Championship’s men’s singles today (Aug 29) in Da Nang City.

Nam, of Becamex Binh Duong, yesterday defeated junior teammate Nguyen Van Phuong 6-1, 6-1, while Thanh from HCM City won 7-5, 6-7 (5), 6-4 over Vu Artem of Binh Duong.

In the other semi-final matches, Nguyen Dac Tien of Ha Noi will play Hoang Thanh Trung of Police.

On the women’s side, defending champion Tran Thi Tam Hao of HCM City will meet Tran Thi Be Xuyen of Kien Giang in the first semi-final match. Si Boi Ngoc, also from HCM City, is scheduled to play Phan Thi Thanh Binh of the host in the other match.

In the doubles event, Binh Duong representatives Hoang Nam and Van Phuong will be slated against Giang Thanh and Quoc Khanh of HCM City in the men’s final.

Da Nang’s Thanh Binh and Dan Thi will meet HCM City’s Thanh Truc and Boi Ngoc in the women’s final.

In the mixed doubles final, Thanh Hoang and Kim Ngan (Military) will face Quoc Khanh and Tam Hao (HCM City).
