According to Mr. Hung, 56, he was ‘terrorized’ by coffins because of conflict between his family and a credit fund.
Hung’s house was rented by the Hai Anh commune credit fund for nearly two years to open its transaction office. However, this fund did not pay enough rent to Hung, resulting in a conflict, which is being investigated by local police.
In early 2012, when the contract expired, Hung took back this house to live there.
On April 5, a group of people carried two coffins to and placed them in front of the door of Hung’s house and left, under the witness of many people.

Lawyer Hoang Van Huong, from the Hanoi Bar Association, says that placing coffins in front of the door of Mr. Hung’s house is the act of terrorism and threat that seriously offends Hung’s family and security and order.
Some similar cases of terrorism have been reported in many provinces in Vietnam in recent years.
