VietNamNet Bridge - The story is thought to be in a cartoon for kids, but it turns out to be a true story. A dog in the southern province of Bac Lieu is acting as a “nanny” for five sewer rats of about 3 months old.

The story occurred at the home of Mr. Duong Van Tam, in Vinh Dong village, Vinh Thanh commune, Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province.

Mr Tam said about 3 months ago, he took home a few mice that did not open their eyes yet from his field. His bitch was very interested in these mice and took care them like her babies.

Many curious people went to Mr. Tam’s house to see the dog and her “mouse babies”.
