The assembly heard Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh present a proposal to add more Deputy Prime Ministers during the 15th legislative term. He also submitted a proposal to dismiss several ministers serving in the 2021–2026 term.

Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chair of the National Assembly’s Committee for Deputy Affairs, presented an appraisal report on the proposed increase in Deputy Prime Ministers.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and member of the National Election Council, Nguyen Khac Dinh, delivered a proposal from the National Assembly Standing Committee concerning the dismissal of several officials. These included a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Secretary General of the 15th National Assembly - Chief of the National Assembly Office, the Chair of the Committee for Deputy Affairs of the 15th legislature, and the Chair of the Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment of the 15th legislature.

Additionally, Nguyen Khac Dinh presented another proposal from the Standing Committee to dismiss a member of the 15th National Assembly and a proposal from the Chair of the National Election Council to dismiss a member of the council.

After these proposals were delivered, the National Assembly held internal group discussions on the proposed personnel matters.

Later, the assembly reconvened in the plenary hall to hear Nguyen Thanh Hai deliver a consolidated report of delegates' opinions on the proposal to expand the number of Deputy Prime Ministers, as well as on the dismissal of officials mentioned earlier.

The National Assembly also reviewed a summary of opinions on approving the Prime Minister’s proposal to dismiss ministers for the 2021–2026 term, the removal of a member of the 15th National Assembly, and the proposal by the Chair of the National Election Council to dismiss a council member.

The National Assembly proceeded to vote electronically on a resolution to increase the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 15th legislative term.

The results showed that 434 delegates participated in the vote, representing 91.56% of the total deputies. Of these, 430 voted in favor (90.72%), 2 opposed (0.42%), and 2 abstained (0.42%).
