According to NA Office Chairman Nguyen Hanh Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will join the last question & answer session on June 15.
Seven other ministers will also attend the Q&A session, including the Ministers of Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Health, and Construction, as well as the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
The Minister of Public Security will talk about solutions for dealing with the crime situation, ensuring social security and the use of excess force to carry out land acquisition and revocation for projects.
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment’s Q&A session will focus on providing compensation for land clearance, relevant agencies’ responsibility for land management and issues related to granting land use rights certificates.
The Minister of Planning and Investment will respond to questions about the feasibility of achieving the socio-economic targets set for this year, as well as public investment issues and capital resources for national target programs in the 2011-2015 period.
Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang will talk about measures to iron out various economic snags such as low growth, large inventories, unemployment, and business bankruptcies. Minister Hoang will also mention the operational efficiency of state-owned economic groups involved in electricity, oil and gas, coal and mining.
Transport Minister Dinh La Thang will report on measures to control and ease traffic congestion while the Minister of Public Security will answer questions about crime situation, the rise of teen crime and solutions.
More than 100 questions have been submitted to the NA Chairman, the Prime Minister and other cabinet members so far.
The Q&A session is scheduled on two and a half days, June 13-15. It will be aired live on the Vietnam Television (VTV) and the radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
