NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu said that Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will recommend dismissal of the former Minister of Finance Vuong Dinh Hue for the NA’s approval and appointment of a new one.

Hue has been assigned by the Politburo and the Central Party Committee’s Secretariat as the chief of the Central Committee of Economics but he still holds the Finance Minister position.

The General State Auditor Dinh Tien Dung will be also replaced because he has been assigned new tasks.

The National Assembly will also hold votes of confidence for 49 key post-holders.

The results of voting will be made public on June 11, said NA Office Chairman Nguyen Hanh Phuc at the current session of the NA Standing Committee in Hanoi on May 15.

Phuc said the NA will spend the whole of May 24 discussing key personnel of the government.

He also announced that 11 key debates on the government’s report, the hearing, and settlement of voter queries will be broadcast live on the national radio and television broadcasting systems.
