This morning (October 10), at the National Conference Center, delegates attended the national ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation. This event is the most significant in a series of activities celebrating this important milestone.
Attendees included leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, representatives from central ministries and departments, Hanoi city officials, international delegates, and representatives from provinces and cities across the country.
The event also honored revolutionary veterans, heroic Vietnamese Mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, labor heroes, representatives of the association of revolutionary soldiers captured and imprisoned in Hanoi, veterans, former youth volunteers, cultural artists, intellectuals, religious leaders, and various sectors of society, including the capital's armed forces.
General Secretary and President To Lam will deliver the commemorative speech on behalf of the Party and State leadership.
During the ceremony, representatives of historical witnesses and the younger generation will also share their emotions and pride regarding the capital and the country.
