VietNamNet Bridge – Four days before the ASEAN Football Cup (AFF) 2010, coach Henrique Calisto asked his players to not leave La Thanh Hotel in Hanoi, where the team is located.

“I want my players to maximally concentrate on the AFF Cup in December so the team must be closely controlled,” Calisto explained.

Some good news has also come to the coach before the AFF Cup. Striker Viet Thang is recovering very quickly so he will be able to join the event. Striker Anh Duc has joined the team in right time. Therefore, the coach has had more choices for his attack line. Moreover, Calisto’s assistant Phan Thanh Hung may return to the national team because???.

However, the team is under great pressure. After defeating U23 Kuwait at the Thang Long-Hanoi Football Cup in October, the national team drew or lost in friendly matches after that.

Calisto said his team is facing many problems. The team currently lacks outstanding strikers and defenders because stars of the previous AFF Cup in 2008 don’t play very well at present.

It is said that the coach was very angry at recent drillings, perhaps because of the above worry.

Vietnam will face Myanmar in the first match of AFF Cup 2010 in Hanoi on December 2. Myanmar arrived in Vietnam on November 27.

The AFF Cup organizing board in Vietnam has decided to lower ticket prices from VND80,000, VND120,000, VND150,000 and VND180,000 to VND50,000, VND100,000, VND150,000 and VND180,000/ticket.

Tickets have been sold as of November 27 at the My Dinh and Hang Day stadiums in Hanoi, on the Vietnam Football Federation’s website and through paging service at 8742.
