VietNamNet Bridge – After being trounced 0-3 by Qatar in the first-leg match of the first qualifier round of the World Cup 2014, the Vietnamese national team practiced hard at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on July 24 to prepare for the second-leg game in Hanoi on July 28.

 

To enter the next round, Vietnam needs at least three goals and successfully defending

its goal at the upcoming game vs Qatar.

As all senior goalkeepers were absent, new goalkeeper Tuan Manh was summoned from the U23 team.

Players were divided into three groups.

Players were tired because of the hot weather.


Coach Goetz checked the quality of the ground. The upcoming match will be held here,

at 7.15pm, July 28. The coach confirmed that attack would be the policy of the Vietnamese team.
