VietNamNet Bridge - Phuoc Vinh, Hong Tien and Xuan Hieu are the latest names recommended for the national squad by coach Phan Thanh Hung.

Coach Phan Thanh Hung said to convene an additional at least 3-5 players to strengthen the team’s defense position. Before the team is disbanded after its first gathering, Hung has recommended three more players - Phuoc Vinh, Hong Tien and Xuan Hieu - and his offer will be almost certainly approved by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

The coach said that the team at present basically has enough force, but he still wanted to call more players to enhance the team’s strength and test new plans. Besides the three latest names, Hung will summon two more players but he did not disclose who they are. However, it is highly possible that they are Hoang Quang and Minh Phuong.

Calling for more players but the coach does not reject anyone from the current list. However, he said anyone who does not meet the professional requirements will be returned to their clubs.

Related to the team’s plan, the match between Vietnam and Indonesia is being to be re-held on October 16 at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium. Based on this schedule, the team's training plan will change.

Accordingly, the team will be dismissed from now until October 1 and group up again for a 10-day drilling in Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa). On October 14, the team will return to Hanoi for the game vs. Indonesia on October 16.
