The event attracted the participation of more than 20 clubs across the country. Athletes will compete in 28 categories in knock-out format.

The annual event, which aims to help kickboxers hone their skills and gain experience for the upcoming international tournaments, will last until March 28.

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate, muay Thai, Kun Khmer and boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
