National midfielder to make V-League debut
VietNamNet Bridge – National Midfielder Vu Minh Tuan will be back in action at the Toyota V.League 1 this weekend after being sidelined for two months because of an injury.
His comeback will result in coach Dinh Cao Nghia having access to more choices for strengthening his team ahead of the sixth round match against hosts Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the Gia Lai Province. Tuan had torn his groin ligament while playing for the national team during the ASEAN Football Federation Cup last December.
This will be his first match for the league.
This Saturday, the Hoang Anh Gia Lai team, which were fined VND15 million (US$700), will also welcome back Midfielder Khuat Huu Long. Three other players from the team – Nguyen Tuan Anh, Luong Xuan Truong and Hoang Thanh Tung – also completely recovered from their injuries last week.
The match will see National Manager Toshyia Miura take to the stands as the Japanese are seeking players for his squad.
The match will be aired live on VTV6 channel from 5pm onwards.
