VietNamNet Bridge - This morning, the delegation of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Committee for Emulation - Reward and delegates of the 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress paid tribute to the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

Among the participants were former Party Secretary General Nong Duc Manh, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, former Party and State leaders, Politburo members, Vice Presidents, Vice Chairs of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, Deputy Ministers and delegates to the 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The wreaths of the delegation carried the banner "Forever be grateful to Great President Ho Chi Minh."

Sixty-seven years ago, on June 11, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh launched the call for patriotic emulation and officially launched a patriotic emulation movement in the whole Party, the army and the people.

After paying homage to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the delegation laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

After that the preparatory meeting of the 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress took place.

In the afternoon, the Congress honored outstanding examples of the movement "The entire country joins hands to build the new-styled rural area" and an exchange program with these outstanding people.

The Congress will open tomorrow. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who is also Chairman of the Central Committee for Emulation - Rewards, will deliver the opening speech.
