National Single Window
The Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and USAID recently announced their survey on the satisfaction of businesses implementing administrative procedures through the National Single Window (NSW).
The National Single Window had successfully connected 200 administrative procedures of 13 relevant ministries by the end of August, in addition to processing over 3.2 million records and more than 40,000 enterprises.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has made all of its 292 public administrative services online, 166 of which are level-3 and -4 services while the remainders are level-2.
The Vietnam National Single Window, a one-stop shop for customs clearances, saw 13 ministries and central agencies integrate a total of 188 administrative procedures as of late January this year.
The full online provision of public services is an important link in the administrative reform programme and the foundation of an e-Government, according to Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Manh Hung.
