VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese karatekas Nguyen Hoang Ngan and Vu Thi Nguyet Anh will return to the national team after long breaks due to injury.

"Their return improves the confidence of the team which is preparing for international events," said Vu Son Ha, head of the karate section of the National Sports Administration.

Anh, from Hai Phong, is training with her teammates in the Ha Noi-based National Sports Centre and Hanoian Ngan is training in Tokyo, Japan.

Anh, former karate champion at the 2006 Asian Games, won four SEA Games golds, while Ngan won three world golds.

Ha said Ngan and Anh had recovered well and were ready for the Southeast Asian and Asian Games.
