VietNamNet Bridge – The largest annual event of the television industry will take place on December 20-26 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

The festival will have the participation of all television broadcasters in Vietnam.

 

By December 16, the organizing board received 754 submissions in  ten categories: programs for children, documentaries, long reportages, short reportages, specialized programs, programs for ethnic minority groups, music – dance – poem performance shows, dramas, television films and trailers.

 

At the 30th National Television Festival, the organizing board will present 35 Gold, 48 Silver Awards and 120 certificates of merit. For the first time, individual prizes for television films will be presented, including the Best Director, the Best Actor, the Best Actress and the Best Cameraman.

 

Television series is the only category for which submissions are considered before the festival (from November 12). Each television broadcaster submitted one series, with 10-40 episodes each. Nominees consist of VFC’s “Silver Swamp”, VTC’s “Perhaps Because of Love”, Tran Gia Company’s “At the End of the Rainbow”, etc.

 

The festival will have many exciting side-line activities: a photo exhibition, an exhibition of TV technologies, four seminars with the presence of many experts from Australia’s ABC channel, China’s CCTV, South Korea’s KBS, Japan’s NHK, etc.

 

The opening and closing ceremony on December 12 and 25 will be aired live on VTV3.
