The Vietnam Tourism Hanoi JSC launched its double-decker bus tour on November 30, offering a new option for passengers to explore the capital city of Hanoi.
The Thang Long – Hanoi City Tour is sold at three price options: VND 219,000 (US$9.39) for 4 hours, VND329,000 (US$14.11) for 24 hours, and VND479,000 (US$20.54) for 48 hours.
The buses, named Vietnam Sightseeing, operate every 30 minutes from 9:15 to 18:15 daily.
The buses pass popular tourist attractions in Hanoi including the Vietnam Military History Museum, Thang Long imperial citadel, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, theTemple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, St. Joseph's Cathedral, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, and the Hanoi Opera House.
Not only taking visitors to historical sites and tourist attractions in Hanoi, the tour also provides them with fresh experience of viewing the city from above, while offering useful information about Hanoi during the journey.
During the initial days of its launch, the tour is open to the public for free until December 2.
This is the second route of its kind to be opened in the capital, following the first launched by the Hanoi Transport & Services Corporation in May this year.
In the near future, Vietnam Tourism Hanoi JSC plans to expand the double-decker tour service to key cities for tourism nationwide in order to lure more visitors to the country and further develop Vietnamese tourism.
