The French expert was enlisted to improve V-League's physique and regime in time for the November 30-December 12 friendly tournament in Pleiku City. That gives Debant only 10 days to implement and test his programme.

In the four-team event, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will host Can Tho, Sanna Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen.

Apart from the new trainer, head coach Guillaume Graechen will also test the newly acquired Cameroon striker, Obama Dimytri, a graduate of the Ivory Coast-Abidjan Academy-JMG, and midfielder Nguyen Van Thang.

The two players, if proven to be successful additions in the friendly, will be added to Hoang Anh Gia Lai's U19 team set to compete in the national premier league next season.
