VietNamNet Bridge – Enjoying food with a couple of beer glasses and listening to music after working hours or days of hard working have been favored by more people especially the youth, and many beer clubs have been up and running in HCMC to cater to this need.

Beer clubs have magnetized more customers who used to have more beer than food at pubs first before going to karaoke rooms or bars for singing, dancing and of course a second round of drinking, either beer or spirit or both.

Beer clubs have all to serve the customers, from food, beer, music, DJ to area for dancing and sexy waitresses to share tips of information about the beer they like and the topics of interest in everyday life.

As usual, beer clubs here in the city offer guests various options to sit on chairs at the bar counter, on high chairs around high tables, and benches by long tables. Some big flat-screen TVs are hung around the beer clubs for people to watch fashion shows on F-TV or games of the FIFA World Cup, tennis and other sports.

Ceilings of the beer clubs are decorated with black or white steel bars and modern lighting systems. Some of the clubs have outdoor areas for guests to breath in fresh air and smoke.

Visitors to these venues are invited to select their favorite beer from a wide selection of popular draught products like Tiger, Heineken, Carlsberg and Sapporo to bottled beers imported from Belgium, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico and Russia to have with snacks and foods on offer. Big and medium-sized towers of draught beer are also available for groups of guests to order and share. A big-sized tower costs from VND350,000 but the price is lower on promotion days.

Vuvuzela on Nguyen Binh Khiem Street is considered as one of the first beer clubs opened in Saigon. The other names are 1820 Beer Club on Hoang Viet Street in Tan Binh District; MOB Beer Club, Beer Republic and Beer & Grill on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in District 1; Hops Beer Garden on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street; Ahoy Beer Club on Pasteur Street; Shooters Beer House on Le Quy Don Street, and Bit Burger on Vo Van Kiet Boulevard in District 1.

District 3 is home to Totopaz Beer Club on Nguyen Thi Dieu Street, Hangover Beer Club on Pasteur Street and Guru Sport Bar on Ky Dong Street. X Pose Beer Club on Hong Bang Street in District 5 and Tatu in District 7’s Nguyen Van Linh Parkway have become venues of choice among local beer lovers.
