On October 25, police authorities indicted P.T.N., born in 2008 and residing in Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, a student in the 11th grade at Mai Hac De High School, on charges of "Humiliation of Others."

The charges have been approved by the Nam Dan District People's Procuracy. As the suspect is under 18 years old, the police have imposed restrictions, preventing P.T.N. from leaving his place of residence.

Earlier, at around 9 PM on October 19, near a rice field in Hamlet 7 (Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District), P.T.N., along with N.V.T., born in 2010 and also from Nam Anh, coerced V.H.D., a 9th grader from Anh Xuan Secondary School, into smoking without exhaling, eating dirt, and mud. The incident was recorded and shared on social media.

Upon receiving the report, the Nam Dan District Police, under the direction of district law enforcement leadership, collaborated with Nam Anh Commune Police to investigate the incident.

Based on the evidence collected, authorities confirmed that there was sufficient basis to charge P.T.N. with the crime of "Humiliation of Others."
