This is the 15th consecutive year the flower street on the occasion of Lunar New Year.

With the theme “Khat vong vuon xa” , which means “Aspiration to reach further”, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and the organisers hope to bring visitors new experiences and convey important cultural features and the national pride to visitors.

The flower street lasts from February 13 (the 28th of the twelfth lunar month) to February 19 (the 4th of the first lunar month).

Its mascot takes inspiration from the Phu Quoc Ridgeback, a breed of dog that is well known for being agile, intelligent and brave and who is from Phu Quoc Island off the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang.

The street which stretches around 720 meters also includes playgrounds for children and is perfect for lovers on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
