The US site recently released the list to help beach lovers plan their next vacation on beaches boasting white sands that beautifully contrasts with azure waters.

Tran Phu Beach in Nha Trang, south-central Khanh Hoa province, which has numerous beautiful beaches, made an impression with its “clear and calm waters and beautiful white sand”, according to the site.

Tran Phu Beach runs along the 12-km seaside promenade of Tran Phu Street, with coconut trees and high-rise hotels and plenty of dining and nightlife options nearby. Located in the center of the city, it’s just a short walk to almost everywhere in Nha Trang, making it the most popular beach in town. It’s usually busy, especially during the summer peak season from June to August.

Nightlife around Tran Phu Beach includes The Sailing Club, ZIMA, and the Skylight Skydeck & Rooftop Beach Club. There’s a wide array of activities such as surfing, snorkeling, bicycle tours, spa treatments, meditation and yoga available on or near the beach.

The number of foreign arrivals to Khanh Hoa province exceeded 2 million last year, up 69 per cent against 2016, according to the Provincial Department of Tourism.

Meanwhile, Long Beach on Phu Quoc Island, off the coast of the Mekong Delta’s Kien Giang province, is admired for its strikingly soft white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning scenery, according to the site. The stretch of sand is also home to numerous resorts, most of which feature huge pools and rooms geared toward families.

As its name suggests, Long Beach stretches for around 20 km. Though it is the most popular beach on the island, it remains quiet and not bursting with tourists, like other gorgeous Southeast Asian island destinations. There is a number of beach bars nearby that serve nice cocktails and boast great views of spectacular sunsets. The island’s seafood is also famous for its diversity and taste.

The number of foreign tourists to Phu Quoc Island in 2017 reached nearly 361,500, up 72 per cent from 2016, according to the Provincial Department of Tourism.

Others on the list included Rendezvous Bay (Anguilla), Grace Bay (Turks & Caicos), Destin (Florida), Orange Beach (Alabama), Paraga Beach (Mykonos, Greece), Shoal Bay (Anguilla), Palmilla Beach (Los Cabos, Mexico), White Bay Beach (Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands), and Playa PortoMari (Curacao).
