VietNamNet Bridge – Phan Nhu Thao has outclassed other Vietnamese candidates to represent the country at Asia’s Next Top Model 2013.
Born in Ca Mau province in 1987, the model is 1.73m tall and measures 84-60-90.
She was in the top ten of the Miss Vietnam World in 2007. In 2008, she entered the top five of the Vietnam Supermodel competition, won the Promising Model and Supermodel with the Best Performing Style.
She also represented Vietnam at the Asian Model Festival held in Seoul in 2011.
Nhu Thao outperformed her team mates Mai Giang, Tra My and Le Thuy at qualifying rounds of Asia's Next Top Model contest, spanning an introduction video clip, catwalk skills, IQ tests, and 50 interview questions.
Thuy Trang, Top 4 of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2011, placed ninth at Asia’s Next Top Model 2012 due to language barrier.
Asia's Next Top Model is a television show involving aspiring models from the entire Asia-Pacific region who wish to win and start their career in the modeling industry.
This year, the show will premiere on Star World channel on January 8, 2014.
