The group of artworks was announced at an award ceremony of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest which was recently held in Vietnam.
As many as 150 Vietnamese children were named as winners of the contest. There were 15 first, 15 second, 30 third, and 90 consolation prizes offered to the most outstanding entries.
The contest was launched in September, 2023, by Toyota Vietnam in co-ordination with the ‘Thieu nien Tien phong va Nhi dong’ (Young Pioneers and Children) Newspaper which targets children between the ages of eight to 16 from across the country.
The organising board said they had received a hugely enthusiastic response from students, with more 550,000 submissions.
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been organised annually by the Toyota Motor Corporation since 2004. Since its launch, the event has gone on to attract the participation of eight million children from 140 countries and territories worldwide. The contest has come to Vietnam since 2011.
