VietNamNet Bridge – In the afternoon of March 12, Ninh Binh FC defeated Yangon United 3-2 at home to take up the top of Group G.

Brazilian-origin midfielder Dinh Van Ta scored two goals for Ninh Binh.

Both teams used the best players in an effort to win three points. Ninh Binh used four foreign players (midfielder Sim Woon Sub, strikers Patiyo Tambwe, Kavin Bryan and Petrisor Voinea) along with Brazilian origin midfielder Dinh Van Ta.

Meanwhile, the Yangon United also used four foreign players, including Brazilian strikers Augusto and Emerson.

Playing at home, Ninh Binh quickly prevailed over the Myanmar rival. At the 12th minute, Dinh Van Ta scored the first goal.

Just four minutes later, striker Patiyo Tambwe passed the ball to Petrisor Voinea, who scored the second goal for Ninh Binh.

At the 27th minute, striker Cezar Augusto scored the first goal for Yangon United with a beautiful finish.

By the end of the first half, a Yangon United defender made mistake in the 16m50 area and midfielder Dinh Van Ta scored the second goal, bringing the gap to 3-1. This is the third goal of Dinh Van Ta after two matches in the AFC Cup.

In the second half, both teams failed to create scoring chances. Ninh Binh played cautiously to maintain the results while Yangon United was not powerful enough to make pressure on the host team.

Until the 88th minute, Cezar Augusto scored the second goal for the guest team.

Winning the second consecutive game, Ninh Binh overcomes Yangon United to rank first in Group G of the AFC Cup 2014.
