A photographer recommended the best times for photography are from 5:30 to 7:00 AM to avoid crowds or in the late afternoon when the sunlight is softer.
Rajesh's family, tourists from India, visited the pond straight from Noi Bai airport. "Many friends suggested that Ninh Binh is a beautiful, unique place that I must experience when coming to Vietnam," Rajesh shared.
The lotus variety grown here is a light pink Japanese lotus, which blooms from May to August annually.
Despite the hot weather, with temperatures reaching up to 36 degrees Celsius, many tourists braved the conditions to take photos with the lotus flowers. Some even hired photographers to capture their memories, with basic photo packages costing 300,000 VND per person, not including costumes. On peak days, a photographer's daily income can reach 7-8 million VND.
Lotus flowers are sold for 10,000 VND each, and costumes can be rented for 150,000 VND to 1 million VND, depending on their intricacy.
