An array of colourful kites could be seen surfing out on the ocean’s waves, with many participants performing somersaults in the air before gently landing on the water’s surface, to much excitement among the thousands of residents and tourists in attendance.

In total, 100 foreign athletes from Russia, the Republic of Korea, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France took part in the event.

In addition to youngsters, many of the participants were older.
